I'm for:

Living and creating unapologetically —
following the inner guide before any guru.

Releasing urgency and effort into ease and flow.

Communicating with awareness and precision — writing to foster (in even the smallest ways) more clarity and understanding in the world.

After a decade-long corporate/government career in communications and project management, I launched the first iteration of my independent work as Smart Fresh Writing (sleaze-free copywriting for mindful entrepreneurs).

Now, I believe we can do more with our business writing and evolve past formulaic approaches to communicate in a way that embodies the essence of what we are seeking in the wider world — whole-heartedness, mindfulness and possibility.

Themes currently emerging in my own writing include: communication, perception, creative process, modes of thinking and meaning-making.

Living with a chronic condition called Crohn's for 15 years has been a catalyst for inner exploration, and for learning what it means to be unapologetically me. That is, not rejecting or denying anything about my self in order to conform to external models of success, and crafting a business and life in alignment with my natural rhythms and pace. It has also meant taking time to pause, to rest and simply be. It's an ongoing and unfolding practice.

All of this informs my outlook, writing and work with clients.
